Novedades
Lo que ha cambiado en Nest, de lo más reciente a lo más antiguo. Las fechas son fechas de calendario de Hong Kong.
Las notas de cada versión están en inglés.
Nest in 12 languages
Versión 1.14.0 ·
- The language picker is now one dropdown (flag and language name) on every page of the website, the sign-in page and inside the app, and you can switch from the mobile menu too.
- New languages: Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Indonesian, Vietnamese and Thai. The website is fully available in them and the app’s main screens are translated; the rest shows in English for now.
- When you choose one of these languages, Nest AI replies in it.
- On your first visit the website picks your browser’s language automatically.
Connect GitHub
Versión 1.13.0 ·
- Connections now include GitHub: once connected, Nest AI can list and read your repos, create repos, commit files, open branches and pull requests, put a site or code straight into a repo and turn on GitHub Pages.
- Before creating or changing anything, chat shows a confirm card first; Nest never deletes repos or files.
- Student accounts need the family owner to allow it first.
- The blog editor’s Upload image is now a normal button that works better on iPhone and iPad.
New sign-in page and blog
Versión 1.12.0 ·
- Sign in, sign up and password reset are redesigned: a compact form beside real Nest screens, all on one screen with no scrolling.
- When you are signed in, the website shows “Enter app”, one tap back to Nest.
- The account menu is smaller and no longer covers the whole screen.
- Blog: posts from the Nest team in three languages, with cover images, pictures and videos.
- Fix: the interactive demo now shows on the English and Simplified Chinese home pages.
Choose your country or region
Versión 1.11.0 ·
- Nest now works for families everywhere: pick your country or region on an interactive globe when you sign up, and change it any time in Settings → Country / Region.
- Local info for where you live: public holidays, transport and weather links, emergency numbers, and the exam system the homework tutor uses (for example DSE, GCSE, SAT, Gaokao).
- The AI answers for your region and no longer assumes you live in Hong Kong; live Hong Kong info such as MTR and bus arrivals and Observatory warnings shows only when Hong Kong is selected.
- Fixed: changing the name in the home-page demo no longer affects your public profile.
Public pages in three languages
Versión 1.10.0 ·
- New public pages about Nest in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English: features, pricing, FAQ, plugins, changelog and an honest Nest vs ChatGPT comparison for homework.
- The home page now says in its first sentence what Nest is: a free AI family app for students and parents in Hong Kong.
- The pages open fast without loading the app and are easy to read on phones and in dark mode.
What’s new messages and service status
Versión 1.9.0 ·
- New “What’s new” messages: important Nest updates appear as a centred card, a top banner or a small toast — close them any time or choose “Don’t show again”.
- During maintenance the app shows a clear message and when Nest expects to be back.
- If a feature is temporarily turned off, the app explains it instead of showing an error.
- Promo codes from Nest can be redeemed for Pro.
Nest can draw
Versión 1.8.0 ·
- AI Assistant and Homework Tutor can draw right in the chat: light refraction and reflection diagrams (the refraction angle is worked out from the refractive indices), lenses and mirrors, force diagrams, circuits, geometry, axes and simple illustrations.
- Just ask, e.g. “Draw a light refraction diagram” or “Draw a cat”. Drawings fit your phone screen and work in dark mode.
- If a drawing can’t be shown you now see “Couldn’t show this diagram” with a one-tap retry instead of raw code.
- Code blocks in chat are readable in dark mode and long lines scroll inside the block only.
Interactive visuals and a changelog
Versión 1.7.0 ·
- AI Assistant and Homework Tutor can show interactive content when it helps: graphs with sliders, force, circuit and ray diagrams, charts, quizzes, step-by-step solutions, flashcards, timelines and comparison tables.
- New What's new page listing every update.
- The assistant knows which page, device and language you are using, so how-to answers are more accurate.
- Plugin creators can edit a published listing — description, icon, category, links and up to 6 screenshots; store pages now have a swipeable screenshot gallery.
- More reliable AI edits in Plugin Studio, with one automatic retry and a clearer message if it still fails.
- Fixed: replies that occasionally repeated the same word over and over.
- Fixed: “remind me …” requests now create a reminder.
- Fixed: asking again after confirming no longer creates a duplicate reminder.
- Traditional Chinese replies now consistently use Hong Kong written Chinese.
More reliable answers and plan labels
Versión 1.6.0 ·
- The assistant looks facts up on Wikipedia first and shows its sources.
- Live status while a reply is being prepared, such as looking something up.
- Your current plan, where it comes from and when it ends are shown everywhere.
- iPad sidebar: the account row stays pinned at the bottom and the middle scrolls.
- Dates and chat history groups are clearer (Today, Yesterday, Previous 7 days …).
- Plugin Studio: version history, compare and restore.
Public profiles, Simplified Chinese and app icons
Versión 1.5.0 ·
- Public profile with @handle, banner, bio and links.
- Verified badges.
- Simplified Chinese interface.
- Maths formulas are typeset clearly.
- Choose your app icon in Settings (Sky, Night, Japan and more).
Plugins, attachments and Beta

- Plugin permissions show their risk and can be switched off one by one.

- Beta users can claim one month of Pro.
